  2019 AFCA DIVISION II COACHES' FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: TE Zach Davidson, R-Jr., Central Missouri,...Davidson becomes the 20th First Team AFCA All-American in team history and the third tight end. Three of the last five Mules First Team All-Americans have been at the tight end position. Davidson gives the Mules back-to-back-to-back First Team AFCA All-Americans for the first time since 2005-07. Davidson finished the year with 40 catches for 894 yards and 15 touchdowns. He is in the NCAA top-10 in yards per reception at 22.35 yards per catch. His 15 receiving touchdowns are currently sixth in the NCAA and are second all-time for a single-season in Mules history. Davidson caught four touchdown passes against Missouri Southern, tying a Mules single-game record. In 13 games, Davidson eclipsed 100 yards three times and caught a touchdown in nine games. This is Davidson's second All-American award and first as a tight end. In 2017, he was a Don Hansen Third Team All-American punter. - Central Missouri Football

  Central Missouri Mules Football won their first playoff game since 2010. The Mules got a lead in the second quarter and never looked back as they defeated the Greyhounds 37-27. The win is the Mules 11th for the season and they move on to round two of the NCAA Tournament. Brook Bolles completed 27-of-37 passes for 377 yards and three touchdowns. Zach Davidson added a score and 90 receiving yards on five catches. The Mules will travel to take on No. 1 seed Ferris State next Saturday, Nov. 30 in Big Rapids, Mich. As the No. 1 seed, Ferris State earned a bye in round one of the playoffs. - Central Missouri Football

  2019 ALL-MIAA FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Tight End and Punter Zach Davidson, Central Missouri,...Zach Davidson is the only player in the MIAA to make the All-MIAA First Team at two positions. Davidson has been a weapon both on offense as a tight end and on special teams as a punter. Taking over as the starting tight end, Davidson has caught 34 passes for 796 yards and 14 touchdowns. His 14 touchdowns lead the MIAA and are in the Division II top-10. He is also sixth in yards per catch in the nation averaging 23.41 yards and sixth in the MIAA in receiving yards.

Three times this season Davidson has gone for more than 100 receiving yards including a 225-yard performance at Missouri Western which is the fourth most in a single game in team history. Davidson also caught a UCM record-tying four touchdown passes in a win at Missouri Southern. On the special teams side, Davidson averages 40.8 yards per kick and has landed 17 of 42 inside the 20-yard line with eight kicks traveling more than 50 yards. This is Davidson's second All-MIAA award as a punter and his first as a tight end. - Central Missouri Football
