Former Maryland center Johnny Jordan has committed to Virginia Tech, he announced Saturday. Jordan, who started four of Maryland's five games this season, announced Monday that he was entering the transfer portal. A resident of Leesburg, Virginia, who at tended Gonzaga High School in Washington, Jordan was an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection by the media. - Baltimore Sun

2019 PRESEASON RIMINGTON TROPHY CANDIDATE: Johnny Jordan, Maryland,...Jordan appeared in 11 of 12 games, with six starts at center in 2018. The Leesburg, Virginia native helped block for the 17th best rushing offense in the country last year as the Terps averaged 230.2 yards per game on the ground.
