  2021 ALL-CAA FOOTBALL THIRD TEAM (COACHES): Evan Horn, New Hampshire, S, Sr.,...In addition to Silver, junior defensive end Gunner Gibson (Hailey, Idaho), senior safety Evan Horn (Lebanon, Pa.) and junior left tackle Patrick Flynn (Hanover, Mass.) were voted to the CAA All-Conference Third Team, as voted on by the league's head coaches. Horn posted 54 tackles and six pass break ups in his final season in Durham. - New Hampshire Football

  Evan Horn, the former Cedar Crest multi-sport star, is transferring from the University of New Hampshire to play football at a Football Bowl Subdivision school in the fall of 2021. Horn played safety and a hybrid safety/linebacker spot for the Wildcats from 2017-19, and graduated last spring. He intended, at that point, to return to UNH this fall, take some classes and play one more football season. - Lancaster Online

  2020 PHIL STEELE/DRAFTSCOUT All-CAA FIRST TEAM: DB Evan Horn, New Hampshire, Sr.,...Horn, a 2019 Phil Steele All-CAA Third Team selection, led the Wildcats in total tackles (70) and solo tackles (51), including 4.0 sacks, from his starting safety position last season. The 6-foot, 206-pound DB notched a team-leading four interceptions, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Among his season highlights were a 50-yard Pick-6 against Elon on Oct. 5, and in the Nov. 23 win against Maine, a career-high 11 tackles, including 10 solo stops, a personal-best two sacks and a forced fumble to help return the Brice-Cowell Musket to the UNH locker room. He was subsequently named the STATS National Defensive Player of the Week and CAA Defensive Player of the Week. - New Hampshire Football

  2019 ALL-COLONIAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Evan Gray, New Hampshire, FB/HB, Sr., Centreville, Va,..Gray carried the ball 108 times for 646 rushing yards and four touchdowns, both of which were team highs. Gray averaged 58.73 rushing yards per game and 6.0 yards per carry. He also caught five passes for 28 yards and had one kickoff return for 12 yards for a total of 686 all-purpose yards.

Gray ranked No. 2 on the CAA leaderboard in yards per carry and eighth in rushing yards per game. He recorded his first 100-yard rushing game with seven carries for 123 yards - including a personal-best 81-yard run - in UNH's 27-24 win against the University of Rhode Island. Gray followed that with 99 rushing yards on 10 attempts vs. Duquesne University, and that included a 72-yard touchdown. - New Hampshire Football

He was named STATS National Defensive Player of the Week and CAA Defensive Player of the Week in recognition of those stats.   NOV 25 CAA FOOTBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Evan Horn, Jr., S, New Hampshire (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest),...Horn recorded a career-high 11 tackles, 2.0 TFL's, 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble as New Hampshire defeated Maine, 28-10. The junior's forced fumble at the UNH 35 ended a Maine drive in the third quarter and he also helped down a punt at the 1-yard line on special teams.   NOV 25 STATS FCS NATIONAL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Evan Horn, New Hampshire, S, R-Jr., 6-0, 206, Lebanon, Pennsylvania,...Horn led the way as UNH held Maine to season lows in points and offensive yards while winning 28-10 in a CAA rivalry game. He recorded a game- and career-high 11 tackles, including 10 solos with two sacks, and forced a fumble that was recovered by a teammate. On special teams, Horn's diving effort at the Maine goal line on a UNH punt prevented a touchback and pinned the Black Bears at their 1-yard line.   Evan Horn and Oleh Manzyk each scored on an interception return in the first half and New Hampshire shut out Elon in the second for a 26-10 victory on Saturday. Manzyk ran 55 yards into the end zone in the first quarter. Horn's pick-6 from 50 yards stretched the Wildcats' lead to 20-10 at halftime. Max Brosmer threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Nick Lorden for New Hampshire (3-2, 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association) in the first quarter. Jason Hughes made field goals from 45 and 42 yards in the fourth. Davis Cheek was 17 of 31 for 184 yards passing and threw four interceptions, three in the first half for Elon (2-4, 1-2). Jaylan Thomas scored on a 13-yard run that capped an 11-play, 70-yard drive early in the second quarter. New Hampshire avenged last season's 30-9 loss against Elon, it's only defeat in six meetings since the Phoenix joined the CAA in 2014. - AP College Football
