  2022 ALL-BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM: DL - Jermaine McDaniel Jr., R-Sr., North Carolina A&T,...McDaniel didn't play the first four games of the season, but once he stepped in, he made a tremendous impact on the Aggies pass rush. He finished the season with 19 tackles, including 15 unassisted and 12 1/2 for loss. He also finished with eight sacks. McDaniel had six tackles, including four unassisted, four for loss and four sacks in the Aggies win over Edward Waters. The Aggies ranked second in the conference in sacks with 2.55 per game, and nationally they ranked seventh. - North Carolina A&T Football

  SEPT 2/WEEK 1 MEAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: North Carolina A&T State's Jermaine McDaniel (DE, 6-3, 235, r-So., Dillon, S.C.) disrupted Elon's offense all night, assisting in the Aggies holding the Phoenix to just 19 yards rushing for the game. His three sacks are the most by an Aggie in a single game in over two seasons.
