  2021 FIRST TEAM ALL-IVY LEAGUE (COACHES): Michael Roussos, Columbia (Sr., RS - New Port Richey, Fla.),...A New Port Richey, Fla. native, Roussos is a three-time First Team All-Ivy League selection (2018, 2019, 2021) and 2019 STATS FCS Third Team All-America selection as a return specialist. This year, Roussos ranked No. 14 nationally and No. 3 in the Ivy League in punt return average (9.4), No. 6 in the Ivy League in all-purpose yards per game (81.25), No. 18 nationally in combined kick return yardage, and No. 1 in the Ivy League (547), and No. 15 nationally and No. 3 in the Ivy League in kickoff returns (26.4). In eight games, he finished with 652 all-purpose yards (397 on kickoff returns, 152 on punt returns, 104 receiving yards), three 100-yard all-purpose games, and caught 16 passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns.   Dante Miller scored on a 65-yard run with 5:38 remaining in the game and Columbia held off Central Connecticut 22-20 in nonconference play on Saturday. Central Connecticut pulled within 15-13 - missing the two-point conversion try - with 6:55 left to play on Romelo Williams' 16-yard TD toss to Tyshaun James. Miller's TD run came on the third play of the ensuing drive to push the Lions' lead to 22-13. The Blue Devils added a TD with 57 seconds left on Williams' 22-yard TD toss to Erik Surratt, but failed to recover the onside kick.

Gabriel Hollingsworth staked Columbia (3-1) to a 7-0 lead after one quarter with a 1-yard scoring run. Alex Felkins stretched the Lions' lead to 10-0 with a 30-yard field goal in the second quarter, but Williams answered with a 14-yard TD toss to Jadd Dolegala to pull the Blue Devils within 10-7 at halftime. Columbia added a safety in the third quarter to up its lead to 12-7. Felkins kicked a 30-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter to push the Lions' advantage to nine. Miller finished with 136 yards on 18 rushes. Joe Green completed 14 of 24 passes for 154 yards with one interception. Williams finished 29-of-51 passing for 288 yards and three scores.   2019 ALL-IVY LEAGUE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Mike Roussos, Columbia (So., RS - New Port Richey, Fla.),...Roussos led the Ivy League in four statistical categories including kickoff return average (23.8), punt return average (17.3), punt return touchdowns (1), and combined kick return yardage (907), and ranked No. 3 in all-purpose yardage per game (130.8). He also ranked among national FCS leaders in punt return touchdowns (No. 2), punt return average (No. 3), combined return yardage (No. 4), and all-purpose yards per game (No. 18). He also earned the Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week honor three times this season and four times in his career.

On the year, Roussos led the Lions with six touchdowns (team-high four rushing TDs), 1,308 all-purpose yards (665 kickoff returns, 242 punt returns, 395 receiving and six rushing), ranked second on the squad in both receptions (35) and receiving yards (395) and totaled six games of 100 or more all-purpose yards.   Mike Roussos scored from 1-yard out to start overtime, Ben Mathiasmeier intercepted a pass on the next offensive play and Columbia beat Harvard 17-10 on Saturday to end a 15-game losing streak in the series. Columbia (3-5, 2/3 Ivy League) beat Harvard for the first time since a 16-13 victory at Wien Stadium on November 8, 2003. Columbia went on an 11-play drive late in the fourth quarter but stalled at Harvard's 8 and Alex Felkins made a short field goal to tie it at 10. The Crimson went three-and-out and the Lions got it back at their 30 with 1:22 left but chose to run out the clock. Brogan McPartland highlighted overtime with a 25-yard grab to Harvard's 1 on third-and-11. Ty Lenhart completed 17 of 25 passes for 153 yards and one touchdown for Columbia. He also carried it 19 times for 50 yards. Jake Smith threw for 111 yards and a touchdown and Jake McIntyre added a shot field goal for Harvard (4-4, 2-3). - AP College Football
